Globe and Mail revamps website

The Globe and Mail, which along with CBC, has the best designed news website in Canada, has launched a bold new look this week.

The site, which can be found at http://www.theglobeandmail.com/ features a cleaner look, with more whitespace and more options to customize how the page looks. It provides a great example of how great design can help present a wealth of information in a more precise and at the same time more promninent manner.

I can think of a few sites here in Atlantic Canada that could benefit from this kind of bold redesign.
