Parlay Q2 profit rises to $291,230 from $12,868 in the year-ago period

OAKVILLE, Ont. - Internet bingo software developer Parlay Entertainment Inc. (TSXV:PEI) reported a profit of $291,230 for the second quarter, up from $12,868 in the year-ago period.

The Toronto-area company said revenue for the quarter was $2.6 million, up 29 per cent from $2 million a year ago.

The profit amounted to two cents per share, compared to nil last year.

Shares in Parlay closed at 60 cents, down 10 cents or 14 per cent on the TSX Venture Exchange before the results were announced.
