KELOWNA, B.C. - Paragon Pharmacies Ltd. (TSXV:PGN), a B.C.-based drug store operator, says Craig Cameron has stepped down as president and CEO of the company and will be replaced by Lorraine McGrath.

Cameron announced in August he wanted to leave the Kelowna company once a replacement had been selected. Paragon appointed McGrath as the new CEO effective Friday.

Harold Milavsky, chairman of the board, said the company "commends Craig for his vision and leadership in building a leading pharmacy chain in Western Canada."

Paragon employs 500 full and part time people and operates more than 18 retail pharmacies, three central fill pharmacies and two home healthcare operations in British Columbia, Alberta and Manitoba.
