Avril Lavigne performs Sunday night, March 30, 2008 at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, N.J.

The cocky singer, who earlier cancelled two shows in Phoenix and San Diego, says on her MySpace page that she still has no voice after straining her vocals last week.

Lavigne is apologizing to fans, saying she had hoped to perform Saturday but discovered at a sound check in Anaheim, Calif. that wouldn't be possible.

As a result, she is cancelling four shows in California and two in Washington state.

Refunds will be available at point of purchase on Monday.

Lavigne kicked off her tour in Victoria in March and is scheduled to return to Canada in the summer.

"My sincerest apologies to all of my fans," Lavigne said in a message posted to MySpace.

"My intention was to complete the rest of the tour but tonight at sound check in Anaheim I realized this wasn't possible. Even though I have been resting my voice for days, when I tried to sing nothing came out."
