HALIFAX - The lineup of artists who will back up headliner Keith Urban this summer at the Country Rocks the Commons show in Halifax continues to grow.
Concert Promoter Harold MacKay says country singer Gretchen Wilson, Newfoundland's Great Big Sea, Cape Breton's Jimmy Rankin and Mark Cameron of Halifax will be part of the show Aug. 30.
Artists Charlie Major, Johnny Reid and Aaron Pritchett have already signed on.
MacKay says the eight artists will provide 10 hours of entertainment at the sprawling downtown park.
Urban, who has sold more than 10 million albums, has been playing to sold out venues throughout North America.
Tickets for the show are on sale now, with an early-bird price set at $89.00.
