U.S. man in custody in N.B. after child porn found on laptop computer

WOODSTOCK, N.B. - A 49-year-old American man is in custody in New Brunswick after border officials allege they found child pornography on his laptop computer.

Carlo Lee Luse of Alex, Okla., appeared in a Woodstock court Thursday on a charge of possession of child pornography. The Canada Border Services Agency contacted the RCMP following a routine search of a vehicle.

Luse was remanded and a further charge under the Canada Customs Act is expected to be laid.
