Worker, 35, killed in accident at cement plant near Kingston, Ont.

BATH, Ont. - One worker has died and two others have been injured by falling bricks at a cement facility near Kingston, Ont.

Bruce Skeaff of the Ministry of Labour says the accident happened as the workers were rebricking the walls of a kiln at Lafarge Cement in Bath. Some bricks came loose and fell on the three men while they were adjusting scaffolding.

The two injured men were treated and released from hospital following the accident Wednesday afternoon.

Skeaff says they worked for Robinson Solutions on Kingston.

The name of the 35-year-old victim has not yet been released.
