Vehicles makes a long line at Tomei Expressway in Yoga, Tokyo Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, after a magnitude 6.6 earthquake occurred early Tuesday. The powerful earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.6 hit Tokyo and nearby areas shortly after dawn Tuesday, halting trains and forcing two nuclear reactors to be shut down for safety checks. An electric road sign, top, indicates the highway ahead is closed. The sign says, "Exit here."
