I grew up in Saint John and have fond memories of our family cottage on the Washademoak Lake. My wife, Kelly, and I now live in Halifax, but when it came time to buy a summer place of our own, we chose the village of Cambridge-Narrows on the same lake. We have attempted to let the property return to a more natural state and enjoy the occasional visit by larger animals – deer, fox, skunk –– and especially our smaller feathered and furry friends. We put up this bird feeder but the chipmunks have claimed it as their own personal restaurant.– Kent Pottle, Halifax,
