I put up a bird feeder this summer and after a lot of trial and error, I finally found the right feeder and the right feed to have some success. When I woke up at around 8 a.m. on Oct. 10, however, I was amazed to see a flock of eight blue jays and a couple of blackbirds eating the seed on the ground. – Chris Donovan, Hampton
