NEW YORK - A woman accused of tagging her way through Europe has been sentenced to six months in jail for spray-painting Queens subway cars with graffiti over three years.
Queens prosecutors say 27-year-old Danielle Bremner, of New York City, was also ordered Thursday to pay $10,000 to the Metropolitan Transportation Agency. Bremner pleaded guilty in June to criminal mischief.
Prosecutors say she spray-painted her tags "Erin" or "Dani" on at least six subway cars, causing more than $6,000 in damage.
Her lawyer, Paul Horowitz, says his client is happy that it's behind her and that she's looking forward to school.
Authorities say Bremner and her boyfriend wrote graffiti on train cars last summer in London, Paris and Madrid.
