Georgia says ethnic cleansing is taking place in South Ossetia

Georgians is taking place in South Ossetia.

Eka Tkeshelashvili says the process is being implemented not only in villages in the conflict zone where Georgians and Ossetians live together.

She says ethnic cleansing is also taking place in the territory she described as being previously known during the Soviet era as the autonomous region of South Ossetia.

Tkeshelashvili was speaking at a meeting in Vienna of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe.
