ASHLAND, N.H. - Authorities say flash flooding swept a car 90 metres downstream at a New Hampshire campground, killing a seven-year-old girl trapped inside the vehicle.
The girl's father escaped Thursday night after flooding rushed through the Ames Brook Campground in central New Hampshire.
He screamed for help while the girl's mother and another child clung to a tree in the raging water.
The girl's body was found when the water receded in Ashland, about 65 kilometres north of Concord.
