Airliner emergency landing interrupts air show in Dayton, Ohio
Published Sunday July 20th, 2008

DAYTON, Ohio - Visitors to an air show in Dayton, Ohio, got a little more excitement than they expected this weekend.
The show was interrupted when a Northwest Airlines plane made an emergency landing.
The airline says the Boeing 757 was en route from Tampa, Florida, to Detroit when a computer for one of its engines failed.
That failure prompted the crew to shut down one of the plane's engines and land as a precaution.
No injuries were reported.
Six crew members and 182 passengers were on board.
The air show at Dayton International Airport was halted while the plane landed but resumed less than an hour later.
