DUBLIN - Gambling software developer CryptoLogic Ltd. (TSX:CRY) has signed its first licensing agreement in Russia and Commonwealth of Independent States, the company said Thursday.
Terms of the "multi-year, multimillion dollar" deal were not disclosed.
CryptoLogic, listed on the TSX but based in Dublin, said the licensing agreement with Kurastica is for its Internet casino software and will be available to players beginning in the first quarter of 2009.
"With a deep-rooted gaming culture, vast population and fast-growing Internet economy, the CIS is a very promising market," president and CEO Brian Hadfield said in a release.
CryptoLogic, which has moved its head office to Dublin but retains a substantial presence in Canada, develops and supplies Internet gaming software.
