N.S. government increases funding to 67 community museums

HALIFAX - Community museums across Nova Scotia are getting an additional $670,000 in funding from the province.

The province's 67 community museums receive a total of almost $1 million annually from government.

In addition to that, each will receive a one-time grant of $10,000.

The money will be used to maintain infrastructure, refresh exhibits and support operations.
