
Driver unhurt after truck flips in western N.B., spilling load

FLORENCEVILLE, N.B. - The driver of a transport truck escaped injury Thursday when his rig hit a guardrail and flipped in western New Brunswick on the Trans-Canada Highway.
RCMP say almost 50 metres of guardrail was destroyed in the mishap near Florenceville around 1 a.m. Police also say the truck spilled its load but there was no immediate word on what the vehicle was hauling.
The east-bound lane was closed from 1 a.m. until 5 a.m. while the scene was cleaned up.
The investigation continues.
