Published Monday July 21st, 2008

SAINT-QUENTIN, N.B. - RCMP in northern New Brunswick have made several arrests in connection with an alleged prostitution ring.
The Mounties conducted raids late Friday with two search warrants - one in a private residence and the other in a licensed establishment, both in the Saint-Quentin area.
Police say two females and a male were arrested and released with a promise to appear in court Nov. 13.
No charges have been laid as yet, but Sgt. Andre Pepin says he expects charges such as keeping and being found in a common bawdy house to be laid before the court date.
The investigation continues.
