
Two killed in seperate crashes near Essex, Ont., and near Ingersoll, Ont.

ESSEX, Ont. - A teenager from Essex, Ont., south of Windsor, is dead following a single vehicle crash late Thursday night.
Police say the 16-year-old boy was ejected from a car as it rolled several times after leaving a road in Amherstburg. The boy's 46-year old father, who was driving, was arrested at the scene and charged with impaired driving causing death.
Meanwhile, provincial police say a 45-year-old Michigan man was killed in a single vehicle crash Thursday night on Highway 401 at Ingersoll.
The man (Chandrakanthan Navaratnam) died after his car swerved across several lanes, went through a guardrail and crashed into a ditch.
The crash occurred just west of Culloden Line at about 8:30 p.m.
