BERLIN - German police say a suitcase containing jewelry worth $460,000 Cdn has been stolen from a train in Berlin.

Police said Tuesday that a Thai businessman was travelling from a trade fair in Berlin to Hannover and noticed shortly after the high-speed train left Berlin that one of his three cases was missing.

Police say witnesses reported seeing a woman rush off the train shortly before its doors closed Monday morning.
