Thomas Cook gold quote: C$976 close Tuesday

TORONTO - Gold was quoted at C$976 bid (US$777) and C$977 asked (US$778) at the close of trading Tuesday by Thomas Cook, a major gold and foreign exchange dealer.

At the close, silver was quoted at C$11.93 bid (US$9.49) and C$12.01 US($9.57).
