Canadian dollar opens at 82.07 cents US, down 0.03 of a cent

TORONTO - The Canadian dollar opened at 82.07 cents US this morning, down 0.03 of a cent. The U.S. dollar stood at 121.84 cents Cdn, up 0.04 of a cent.

Pound sterling worth C$1.7580, down 1.69 cents, and US$1.4429, down 1.43 cents.

The Euro was worth C$1.6927, down 0.58 of a cent.
