Letter: Bus service is getting better

A few winters ago on a 90 bus that was packed like a sardine can, the windows were opaque with dirt and condensation and I couldn't see where we were. I resorted to using Google maps on my iPhone to determine when to start fighting my way to the door to get off.

I’m relieved to read that bus stops will be automatically enunciated.

I realize it’s difficult to keep buses clean, but a wipe over the windows would help. The automated announcement will eliminate the uncertainty.

The GPS locations of buses is also very welcome. One can time one’s sortie from the warmth of one’s abode and minimize the wait at a freezing bus stop. Excellent job, STM!
