
Scott Zwizanski takes fourth stage and overall lead at Tour de Beauce

ST - GEORGES DE BEAUCE, Que. - American Scott Zwizanski won the fourth stage of the Tour de Beauce on Friday, leapfrogging over two Colombian rivals to take the Yellow Jersey.
Zwizanski won the 20-kilometre individual time trial in 26 minutes and 26 seconds, which was 22 seconds faster than second place Phil Zajicek of the U.S., and 26 seconds ahead of Jesse Sergent of New Zealand.
Zwizanski now holds a 1:03 lead on Sergio Henao in the general classification, with Darwin Atapuma a further 12 seconds in arrears.
Ryan Roth of Bright, Ont., was the top Canadian finisher in 14th place, 1:25 behind Zwizanski. Roth retained ninth place in the overall standings, and is now 4:11 out of the lead with two stages remaining.
The Tour de Beauce, Canada's only internationally sanctioned stage race, concludes on Sunday after seven stages and 816 kilometres of racing.
