POCOLOGAN, N.B. - Six people were sent to hospital following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 1 today near Pocologan in southern New Brunswick.

Three people from one vehicle were sent to the Charlotte County Health Centre and have since been released.

Two adults and one child from the other vehicle were taken to the Saint John Regional Hospital.

The two adults are in serious but stable condition and the child was uninjured.

RCMP say it appears a car heading east went over the yellow line and struck the side of a vehicle heading west.

With the way a lot of people drive on the highways of N.B. or anywhere now days it is no wonder their are not many many more accidents on our highways. I seen another one yesterday on the MacKay highway that was very serious. Why can't people give themselves enough time to make appointments or any thing they have to do so they can drive safely and stay off those darn cell phones when driving. I see more people with their hands up to their ears talking on them and it would be quite possible to have an accident when not paying attention. If I get a call I majke they hang on til I can safely stop to answer it.Where do people want to go in such a hurry. That is why I do not live in the big cities as the pace of life has gotten so fast it is no place for older people anymore.SLOW DOWN PEOPLE IF YOU WANT TO SEE OLD AGE.
