Members of the band the Barenaked Ladies arrive on the red carpet for the JUNO Awards in Vancouver, Sunday, March 29, 2009.

The venue, located on the shores of False Creek in downtown Vancouver, will be home to regular concerts and comedy shows during the Games, organizers announced Tuesday.

Other musical acts scheduled to perform include rocker Tom Cochrane, Regina blues guitarist Colin James and Nova Scotia-raised country singer George Canyon.

Vancouver rockers the Odds be the venue's house band.

Passes for the Hockey House are on sale now, with single-day passes starting at $450 per person.

Comedian Sean Cullen will put on a regular show that he says will incorporate stand-up comedy and interviews with hockey players.

"We just want people to have a good time," Cullen told The Canadian Press following a news conference on Tuesday.

"The Olympics is pretty buttoned-down in what you can and can't do, and everything's state-sanctioned and blah. Everything has to be sweet and the corners squared. We want ours to be rough and ready ... we just want it to be a party and a good time."
