Published Monday November 23rd, 2009

INGERSOLL, Ont. - Police in southern Ontario are investigating several complaints of people posing as Salvation Army employees and collecting money.
Police in Ingersoll, Ont. received two reports of the scam last week.
One of the cases involved a man and a woman collecting donations with a fake letter stating they were Salvation Army workers.
In another, two men canvassed the town with a hand-written pledge sheet.
The Salvation Army says it didn't authorize either collection.
