REGINA - A couple who took a late night trip to a bank machine in Regina were shot at during an attempted robbery.

Police say a 46-year-old man and 51-year-old woman were getting money from a TD Bank drive-thru just before midnight Thursday.

Two men approached them carrying what police call "long weapons."

The couple said the men demanded cash and fired shots at the vehicle, injuring the woman.

She was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police have no description of the suspects.
