The final nine players await play to begin at the final table in the World Series of Poker at the Rio Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.

All the cards were on the table when Schwartz made his move just before midnight on Sunday. With a board showing two kings, an eight, five and a deuce, Schwartz put his hands to his face when he realized that Eastgate had beaten him with a full house, fives over kings.

The pot gave Eastgate 64.9 million chips and a 12 million-chip lead over Ivan Demidov. Dennis Phillips was third in chips with 19.5 million.

Schwartz, who won $3.78 million for fourth place, was the first player to leave after Canadian Scott Montgomery of Perth, Ont., was eliminated. He won $3,096,768 for fifth place.
